I got Tina to eat some of her chicken and dog food mix before I brought her to Oso boarding, then picked up Fe and we
headed off to the Hill Country Food Truck Festival at the Luckenbach Town Loop. We got there around 2 and it was hot.
The car said 99 degrees for outside temperature and I had parked it in the shade of a large tree.
I had my mind set on some German food so headed for the Brotwurst truck. It was pretty good and
included some sour kraut which I haven't had in a while.

We hung around a while to listen to the entertainment, but they weren't all that great so we headed back to
find the resort in Bandera. We found it ok and checked in. The view from the room was of a river bed. The bed
however was completely dry. It still looked pretty and later I saw some deer foraging along the rocks. A hawk of
some sort kept sweeping in low looking for something.
